ABOUT US
The company began in 2012 as a sole proprietorship doing videography and short films in Buffalo, NY. In 2013, their no-budget short film, Scope of Practice, attracted many filmmakers in the local film community as well as the Buffalo and NYS film commissioners. Due to it’s success and immense local press coverage, several ties were created which enabled them to launch their first feature film, Dwelling, in 2014.
During post-production for Dwelling, BeWILdered Media became an S-Corporation shifting it’s focus strictly to independent film and video. In 2016, Dwelling was picked up for distribution and released through Sony Pictures Home Entertainment in August 2017.
OWNER AND FOUNDER
Brandyn T. Williams is the sole owner of the company. He founded it in January 2012 after graduating from Buffalo State College in December 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Media Production.
In November 2017, he moved to Los Angeles, California and added commercial production to the company’s profile. BeWILdered Media Productions LLC is now registered and functioning as an independent film/commercial producing company in Los Angeles, California.
